What is craftivate?
Craftivate is a place to learn, connect and create. It is a DIY art and craft studio for all ages that takes a relaxed, fun, community approach to making and unlocking the creativity that lies within. With easy to follow instructions, customizable projects, and an inspiring atmosphere, you will create high quality crafts and artworks with ease. Creating with Craftivate is the perfect way to unwind, relax and make something that you can be proud of.
We believe everyone is creative and has the ability to make something beautiful and expressive. Who's behind it all?
MEET AMY - Hi! I'm Amy, the founder and owner of Craftivate! I am a skilled and devoted artist who loves to teach. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to peruse my site today!
Here's a little bio, written by one of my lovely friends, so that you know a little something about me:
Amy Stamp is the owner of Craftivate, a DIY Craft & Art Studio / Workshop Venue. Born and raised in New Haven, Amy has loved creating things since she was a child and has explored her innate creative talent throughout her life. She spent her undergraduate career studying Art and Graphic Communication at NYU and after graduating went on to earn her CT Art Education Certification at SCSU. She currently relies on 10+ years of business and teaching experience, as well as her inherent creative spirit and lifelong passion for making things, to successfully keep Craftivate at the forefront of the creative scene as CT's premier DIY Craft & Art Studio. She conducts workshops and more at her purposeful, beautiful storefront studio where anyone, young or old, can explore their creative side.
A dedicated small business owner, Amy is engaged in networking events and neighborhood efforts to strengthen commerce and build community. She is also a passionate supporter of Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital, Mama G’s Thanksgiving Street Dinner, Sacred Heart Academy and the Lustgarten Foundation.
Amy resides in Wallingford, CT with her family and beloved dog, Zelda (see below). A wife and mother of two young children, Amy blends work, family, and her own creative pursuits with diligence and grace. Whether elaborate holiday decorations, a unique gift for a friend, or a token of advice to a fellow female business owner, Amy values custom over common; bespoke over boring; and personal over perfect.
All Sales Are Final
All ticket sales are final except in the event of a cancelation by Craftivate or the event venue. Only in that case will ticket purchases be fully refunded.
If you have purchased a ticket but cannot attend the event, you may contact Craftivate at email@example.com to transfer your ticket to another event occurring within 30 days of your original event date. If you are not able to use your ticket within the 30 day timeframe, you forfeit the value of your ticket and the ticket is void. It is possible for someone else to use your ticket within the 30 day timeframe as long as Craftivate is informed of the change in ticket holder prior to the event. Please email Craftivate at firstname.lastname@example.org with any information regarding the transfer of ticket holder.
